Data is our most powerful tool for achieving better health and equality for people everywhere. Despite its increasing prevalence and importance to global development, data remains a tough topic to creatively convey. As a communications professional, my passion is to artfully blend data with storytelling, crafting narratives that take hard-won data and make it relatable and actionable. Most recently I came from Zenysis Technologies - a data integration and analytics company - where I served as Communications Director, defining global brand and strategy for a fast-growing technology startup. Prior to Zenysis I worked with VillageReach, serving as Community Director for the OpenLMIS Initiative where I built global presence and facilitated collaborative processes for a community of over 20 global development and technology organizations. Previously I also oversaw supply chain and health systems strengthening activities in West Africa with John Snow, Inc. (JSI) as a Technical Advisor with the Malaria Task Order on the USAID | DELIVER PROJECT. I hold a baccalaureate in English Literature and a Master of Science in International Development. I am a fluent French and Wolof speaker and a former Peace Corps Volunteer (Senegal, 07-09).
