Dr. Inon Schenker is a Blockchain for Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Champion, working on UN, Private Sector and Government initiatives. His passion for innovative solutions to global challenges guides the impactful Global Public Health work he leads for over 20 years in Africa, Asia, and the Middle East; Working with UNICEF, WHO, World Bank, USAID, UNECE, civil society and private sector. He is the Founding Chair of Blockchain Technologies for SDGs Working Group, member of the Academic Advisory Body of INATBA, the United Nations Innovation Network and the United Africa Blockchain Association. Among his initiatives: ‘The Blockchain for Global Impact: Practical Tools for Sustainable Development’ International Conference; ‘Blockchain Technologies, United Nations, Impact’ Graduate Course at Tel Aviv University; ‘Blockchain Beating COVID-19’ Sprint Hackathon and UNECE Forum Blockchain side-events. Dr. Schenker holds a PhD in Public Health and Science Education, MPH, and BA in Sociology and Political Science, all from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Israel.
